The IT Operations Manager is responsible for the effective operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and efficient. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

- Manage day-to-day IT operations, including network, systems, personal computers, communications and support services.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and security.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize infrastructure performance and service delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Schedule and delegate tasks, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to IT policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and facilitate training opportunities.
- Oversee all aspects of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and cloud environments.
- Implement and maintain robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions that align with organizational requirements.
- Ensure high availability of critical systems, including disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Plan and manage infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and implementations, while staying within budget and time constraints.
- Oversee incident and problem management processes to ensure timely resolution and minimize disruption.
- Implement and manage change control procedures for infrastructure updates and deployments.
- Track and analyze operational metrics to enhance service quality and proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure infrastructure security, overseeing firewall management, intrusion detection, and vulnerability assessments.
- Perform regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability testing.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective solutions and adherence to SLAs.
- Prepare and maintain budgets for infrastructure and operations, including forecasting and expense tracking.
- Procure hardware, software, and services needed to maintain optimal infrastructure performance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge/Skills:
- Expertise in network architecture, server management, virtualization, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.
- Proven track record in team management, project leadership, and process improvement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to:
- Trouble shoot and problem solve technical environments.
- Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Learning and keeping up with industry trends.
- Lead technical team.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5 years in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Advanced certifications (e.g., ITIL, CCNA, PMP) Preferred

- Tolerate extended periods of sitting at desk.
- Ambient noise is louder than a traditional office setting.
