Summary: Supa, Inc. is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Fuel Dispatcher to join our logistics team. As a Fuel Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and directing the movement of drivers and fuel trucks, ensuring timely and safe delivery of fuel to various locations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, an understanding of dispatch operations, and a keen eye for detail. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining a high level of service and satisfaction for our customers. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the fuel dispatch department, ensuring all deliveries are scheduled and dispatched efficiently. Maintain communication with drivers to provide updates on delivery schedules, fuel loading, and other pertinent information. Efficiently utilize our technology systems such as Truefill and Motive to create all deliveries, dispatches, and driver information. Resolve delivery-related issues promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation flow, addressing and resolving any logistical challenges that arise. Facilitate the collection of accurate fuel transactions, delivery times, and other dispatch-related data. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation laws and regulations. Monitor fuel inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock is maintained. Provide continuous improvement suggestions to optimize dispatch processes and minimize costs while ensuring the highest level of service. Supports and facilitates organizational changes, continuous improvement, and communication. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills & Abilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Acts with integrity and professionalism. Experience with MS Office suite; intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel preferred. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required. Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Previous experience in a dispatching role, preferably in the fuel or transportation industry. Proficiency with dispatching software and GPS systems. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
