Summary
We are seeking a motivated self-starter to join our team as an Assembler. Assemblers are responsible for the installation and assembly of components and boats following specific Workmanship Instructions (WI) for each project.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify Project Requirements for special options and ensure materials are on hand to complete daily project schedules.
- Assemble parts onto the boat per the description of the Sales order by using the correct tools and proper methods to attain the correct standard in the installation.
- Follow proper safety requirements for the use of hand tools, drills, screw guns, and other equipment.
- Inspect all parts after production to ensure that all parts are complete and up to quality standards. You are responsible for the quality of work you perform.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools (e.g., razor knives, screw-gun, drill, Jig saw, skill saw, drill press, sanders, and tape measure).
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical parts.
- Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines.
- Ability to follow instructions from Leadership for miscellaneous duties.
- Ability to work with a team to complete daily tasks.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, and email).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Manufacturing Experience.
- Previous work history in Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanics, etc.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents.
- Previous Warehouse Experience.
