Superfeed Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Mobile App User Engagement and Retention Manager to play an integral role in a company that is shaping the way people consume content online.

We’ve developed a product that is revolutionizing the way we consume news and information. Superfeed® is an information superhighway app that gives users control of the news, information, and social media content they see. It brings all their desired content from websites, social feeds and channels into a unique user experience that is engaging and interactive. In the Superfeed® platform, users create their own algorithm by fine-tuning their settings for each source of content, giving them their perfect feed.

The core functions of this role are to use your experience in building positive client relationships to oversee the implementation and daily aspects of engaging our users and maintaining high benchmarks and KPIs for app growth and usage. In other words, it is your job to provide our users with reasons to stay engaged, grow our stickiness (retention) and increase time users spend on the app. You will become an expert on how our app functions and enhance how users flow in the app. You will work alongside our acquisition team whose job it is to bring qualified users onto the app.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Keep people engaged and using the app by developing short and long term strategies using various tools such as Braze and Google Firebase
  • Work with marketing and various stakeholders to understand the needs of users
  • Create and drive a user engagement roadmap
  • Increase and monitor time spent on app by our users
  • Increase and monitor stickiness of our users on the app
  • Increase and monitor and retain our Daily Active Users
  • Analyze business data in order to determine effectiveness of campaigns run through our set of tools
  • A/B test campaigns to setup the best user experience possible
  • Keep up to date with current events, news and information to align with engagement strategy

Required Experience

  • At least 2+ years experience in mobile app engagement strategy
  • Familiarity with major social media applications and how they utilize Push Notifications and Email Marketing campaigns, in-app messages and SMS
  • Analytical thinker and self-starter
  • Ability to start, execute and analyze many different engagement campaigns at once
  • Excellent ability to stay organized
  • Lives for A/B testing and tweaking until the right formula is found
  • Strong project management skills

Desired Experience

  • Experience working on a Mobile App Development team with launched product in Apple AppStore or Google Playstore
  • 1+ years experience with Braze or Google Firebase or other platforms such as Iterable, Blueshift, etc.
  • 2+ year experience setting up and executing marketing campaigns as it relates to user experience, push notifications and in-app messaging
  • Some familiarity or learning certificate with UX/UI and how the entire ecosystem of an app affects various areas of stickiness
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Office 365
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to present to various stakeholders in the business with updates and KPI reporting
  • Experience in the different engagement tactics that would increase engagement
  • Creativity in coming up with various campaigns
