Mobile App UX / UI Designer

Superfeed Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Mobile App UX / UI Designer to play an integral role in a company that is shaping the way people consume content online.

We’ve developed a product that is revolutionizing the way we consume news and information. Superfeed® is an information superhighway app that gives users control of the news, information, and social media content they see. It brings all their desired content from websites, social feeds and channels into a unique user experience that is engaging and interactive. In the Superfeed® platform, users create their own algorithm by fine-tuning their settings for each source of content, giving them their perfect feed.

The core functions of this role are to use your experience in UX / UI design to oversee the implementation of stakeholder designs while being creative with your own ideas in the process. It will be your job to use your experience to provide our business with relevant app designs in accordance with our go-to market strategy and overall vision and goals for the app. This will help guide our app’s user experience through creating user journeys and relevant mockups. This is a role that will work cross-functionally with other stakeholders, departments and influencers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with the Product Management Team and other various stakeholders to accomplish goals set forth by the business
• Develop and execute UX / UI strategy and vision that aligns with our business goals
• Translate business requirements into user experience design specifications
• Translate business requirements into mobile app designs that are engaging, well researched and forward-thinking
• Quickly create user flows, wireframes and prototypes as necessary
• Master the app and understand what users want
• Make changes quickly to designs to address incoming user and stakeholder feedback
• Ensure the entire app maintains visual consistency
• Lead and execute participatory design/user testing sessions

Required Experience:

• 2+ years working in UX / UI design (excluding internships) along with working with a style guide and design system for mobile applications (iOS, Android, etc)
• Experience in validating designs with various stakeholders in the business
• Experience working in Figma or similar app like Sketch or prototyping such as InVision
• Ability to understand and articulate the landscape of apps in the marketplace
• Strong graphic design skills with related portfolio of previous work
• Ability to take and implement constructive feedback
• Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills

Desired Experience

• 3+ years in UX / UI design in a mobile app environment
• Demonstrated experience designing and supporting mobile app products inside an Agile environment
• Degree in relevant field of study
• Familiarity with Microsoft DevOps in an Agile iterative design environment
• Experience in creating animations, motion graphics a plus
• Ability and desire to manage people in the future
• Excellent understanding and familiarity with Apple’s iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Google’s Material Design Guidelines for Android
• Desire and ability to stay up-to-date on UX / UI best practices
