Position: Auto Body Technician
Responsibilities:
- Perform meticulous auto body repairs, including thorough disassembly and reassembly of each vehicle.
- Collaborate closely with repair planners and estimators to effectively map vehicles during teardowns.
- Skillfully repair and replace damaged body parts, panels, and frames using a variety of tools and equipment, including welding (traditional and plastic), soldering, frame rack, and AC systems.
- Actively participate in daily production meetings, contributing valuable insights to the team.
- Maintain uncompromising standards of quality workmanship and attention to detail in all repair tasks.
- Uphold a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Experience:
- Demonstrated experience as an Auto Body Technician or in a similar role, with a strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle systems, including ADAS equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required, with familiarity in auto body repair processes being advantageous.
- Prior experience in auto restoration is highly desirable.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of prior experience as a collision repair technician.
- Possession of or willingness to obtain proper tools required to successfully complete job duties as assigned.
- Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings, including background checks and possession of a valid driver's license.
Skills:
- Proficiency in utilizing tools and equipment related to auto body repair, with advanced welding skills for joining various types of metals together (e.g., HSS, Aluminum).
- Ability to work with various types of parts from different manufacturers, including aftermarket components.
Additional Information:
- This role offers industry-competitive pay on a biweekly basis, with paid skilled training included (e.g., I-CAR and ASE).
- Note: This position may involve standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as bending, lifting, reaching, and handling objects weighing over 50 lbs. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for understanding instructions, written estimates, and work orders. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities is crucial.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
