As a Field Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with various federal and state regulations as well as internally established guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Examination of customer-facing documents
- Examine the lot, vehicles, dealership office, and reader boards to ensure proper signage and posting are compliant
- Examine dealership practices to ensure non-public personal information is properly safeguarded and secured
- Enter observations and findings into a compliance management system
- Provide periodic support and training to Field Staff in regards to compliance-related matters
- Identify and report non-compliant practices with an appropriate level of urgency
- Complete 3-4 dealership visits/audits per week
- Regular travel to dealership locations in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Kentucky
- Other duties as identified by the Director of Compliance
Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) at the intermediate level
- Must be very detail oriented
Experience and Education
- High school diploma/general education degree (GED)
- 1 year of related experience and/or training
