The central sales analyst gathers business intelligence from a variety of sources including company data, industry and field reports, public information, or purchased sources. This position works with many departments within the organization and shares the findings to help drive business objectives and help the team succeed.

Typical Duties of a Sales Analyst
- Assesses go to market strategies by analyzing related products, markets, or trends
- Utilizes business intelligence to identify and monitor current and potential customers
- Participates in and leads analysis of research findings to identify key business and operational insights for our clients
- Manages the ongoing maintenance and administration of internal software to best accommodate business processes and reporting needs
- Identifies markets for future product development and methods to improve sales of existing products by analyzing technology trends
- Thoroughly understands and explains the intricacy of technologies being used
- Compiles business intelligence data to support actionable recommendations
- Understands the company’s business processes and the industry at large
- Maintains current knowledge of industry and business trends through communication with professional organizations, suppliers, customers, competitors, and other informed individuals
- Provides a solid representation of qualitative and quantitative intelligence; ensure deliverables are accurate, timely, relevant and reliable
- Summarizes financial and economic data reports for review by executives, managers, clients, and stakeholders
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations and adheres to all company policies and procedures
