- Keep up-to-date on industry trends and changes in parts and pricing
- Train and mentor parts department staff on customer service, sales techniques, and product knowledge
- Monitor and track department performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective communication and workflow
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed
- Monitor budget and expenses to ensure profitability of the parts department
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience in automotive parts management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Proficient in computer systems and basic math skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
