Superior Drilling Products is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to work in its Vernal, Utah facility.

This position requires relocation to beautiful Vernal, Utah. Onsite interactions with employees is a must to develop the kind of interpersonal relationship that maintains the best working culture in Utah (although some time working from home can be arranged when appropriate). Salary is negotiable. Availability must include regular business hours with some work in the evenings.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- A desire to develop a professional career in Human Resources.
- A willingness to engage.
- One year’s professional business experience.
- Understanding of HR law and best practices for compliance.
- One year of experience in full HR duties.
- A high attention to detail without getting lost in it.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- A big picture mindset.
- Good computer skills.
- Good MS Excel skills.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and disciplined.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Ability to reconcile accounts.
- Ability to work in a nonpolitical, open, honest culture that values human interaction without drama.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 to 3 Years’ experience working in HR.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or an associated field.
- Working knowledge of Labor law, including FLSA, EEO, ADA, and Title 9.
- Experience using Paycom as an HRIS.
- Experience with Employee Relations Investigations and documentation.
- PHR or SHRM certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Build success and find professional fulfillment in a job well done.
- Perform transactional processes inherent in Human Resources without getting lost in it.
- Create, implement, and develop processes and procedures that make the company more efficient and further its goals.
- Automate all functions in the department that can be automated.
- Develop an understanding of Paycom and implement its advanced features.
- Own and administer benefits, reconcile HRIS feed issues, and automate solutions.
- Create, maintain, and service employee records both digital and physical eventually moving the company to a completely digital system of records management.
- Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, work with management and executive management to maintain but also develop the company’s culture while it grows.
- Administer the recruiting process.
- Onboard new hires.
- Work with executive management and the department director to provide company activities that further the vision and mission of the company.
- Participate in the community in a way that enhances your own job satisfaction and supports the company’s reputation.
