Essential Job Functions:
- Work independently and maintain consistent work efforts to effectively manage a portfolio of consumer credit accounts.
- Utilize multiple systems to research and understand each consumer’s financial situation.
- Analyze financial information, including credit reports, to negotiate the most expeditious resolution for delinquent accounts.
- Follow-up on accounts to ensure payment commitments are met.
- Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy when working with consumers and attorneys.
- Effectively work with consumers through sensitive and challenging financial situations.
- Adhere to quality standards and ensure proper and lawful interactions with consumers.
- Meet or exceed monthly production goals.
- Negotiate payments through a variety of different channels (i.e. credit card, check, ACH withdrawals, and wire transfers).
Skills/Knowledge/Education:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent successful experience in an environment with high customer contact.
- Knowledge of FDCPA and other laws governing third party collection activities is preferred.
- Knowledge of skip tracing and general collection software is preferred.
- Inquisitive nature and demonstrated ability to think critically and problem solve.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is desirable.

Required Equipment for our Home-Based Agents!
- PC / Laptop (MAC acceptable) – Computer should have at least 2 cores CPU and 4GB of RAM. Windows 10 or higher and MacOS 10.10 and higher.
- High Speed Internet (Minimum 100mb) – NOT CELLULAR
- Minimum 2 Monitors
- Headset with microphone (Noise Canceling) and mute function
-Web Cam (Zoom will have to be installed on computer)
Employee agrees to designate a workspace within Employee’s remote work location for placement and installation of equipment to be used while teleworking. Employee agrees to maintain this workspace in a safe condition, free from hazards and other dangers to Employee and equipment. Employer must approve the site chosen as Employee’s remote workspace. Employee is expected to submit three photos of the home workspace to management prior to implementation. No other site is permitted to be used, including but not limited to, any other household, coffee shops, internet cafes, restaurants, etc. Employee is expected to maintain a work area that is free from excessive noise, distractions, and/or any environmental behaviors that would be detrimental to work quality or other company commitments.
