This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week.What we do : The Production Verification Technician is responsible for the inspection, assembly, repair and troubleshooting of aircraft avionics, electrical (high and low voltage), mechanical and instrumentation systems on rotorcraft in support of Test and Evaluation Programs.
This position’s primary responsibility will be the inspection of received components and test asset assembly; secondary role will be to support the team in execution of these tasks.
What you can do : Interface with Program & Project Leaders, Engineering, Safety, Quality Management, Procurement, Program Management Office, and Test organization members in support of the following responsibilitiesInspect components as they are received in accordance with drawings, technical documentation and industry standardsPerform detailed measurements utilizing various simple and complex measurement toolsTests electronic components and circuits to locate defects, using signal generators, amp meters, and voltmeters and other measurement equipmentRead and interpret various aircraft drawings, schematics reports or specifications.
Utilization or various test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters electronic bridges, loop calibrators) and hand toolsCompletes all written and electronic records (work orders, calibration sheets, time cards, material requests) required to document the work in progress and as it is completedWork directly engineering and operations to resolve problemsMust maintain a clean working environment at all timesMust be familiar with standard and non-standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the aviation fieldPerforms build-up and maintenance of test articles, ensuring that quality objectives, configuration control, and conformity requirements are metMay require up to 10% of international and domestic travelOther duties as assignedWhat you can contribute : Minimum GED or HS diploma required;
college degree preferredMinimum five (5) years experience as an aviation technician; minimum three (3) years quality assurance experience (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailMust have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraintsProficiency with MS Office SuiteWilling to TravelYou may also be able to contribute : Rotorcraft experience preferredExperimental flight test experience preferredAirframe and power plant license preferredBase pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
