Job Description
The Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager will direct efforts to source, select, and hire qualified candidates. While the role may also include managerial responsibilities for another member of the Talent Acquisition team, it will definitely include managerial responsibilities for the TA process for one or more Sectors/Functions. This person is responsible for understanding the business need/opportunity and designing, developing, implementing and monitoring processes to ensure desired outcomes.
- Acts as a process owner for hiring and attraction programs.
- Provides subject matter expertise for TA-related projects across the organization.
- Provides project leadership/participation in the design/administration of TA programs and development/implementation of TA tools and communication materials.
- Acts as an intermediate with regional HR and business leadership teams regarding TA programs.
- Provides oversight of key vendor relationships as needed.
- Assists in the Talent Acquisition components of the Employer Value Proposition.
- Maintains active relationships within networks to gain knowledge of competitive activities and best practices.
- Coaches and provides training support to hiring managers.
- Provides standard reports, projections, and data on TA-related topics.
- Plays an active role in managing the selection process, assessing candidates’ non-technical skills/knowledge and attributes, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Serves as a contact person for the candidate, hiring manager, and recruiting coordinator on the status of the candidate.
- Develops sourcing strategies with hiring managers.
- Makes contact and follows up with candidates to create and maintain interest in opportunities within the company.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, required
- 5 years full life-cycle recruiting experience, required
- 5 years Executive search experience, preferred
