Live-in Host Home Provider Needed
Compensation range: Free rent, utilities, and internet/cable! An additional paid 15-20 hours per week!
This compensation arrangement is well-suited to people who have direct care experience or potential caregivers who are currently renting and have a big heart for people with differing abilities.

Live-In Host Home PROVIDER POSITION
We are seeking enthusiastic caregivers who are willing to live with and provide care to an individual who needs support living on her own. Host Home Caregivers share homes and lives with individuals with Developmental Disabilities (IDD). As a Live-In Caregiver, you move into the client's home and provide them support and ongoing daily care. You can help someone who has some everyday challenges and make a difference in his life.
ABOUT THE INDIVIDUAL:
She is a 34-year-old woman with high functioning autism. She is living in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom townhome in north Boulder. Duties include being a live in companion and helping to make several meals a week. It would also include paid hours to take the roommate out into the community for fun activities.
TO QUALIFY FOR THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY
- Prefer experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Should have a High school or equivalent education (Required)
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Must complete training for Medication Administration, CPR/First Aid and maintain ongoing training as deemed necessary
- Companions must be willing to be onboarded by Support, Inc and pass the basic requirements
- The above includes completing a full application and passing background and reference checks
Caregiver's Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare nutritious meals
- Provide a variety of recreational activities to enhance social development
- Include the client as though she were family, in life and activities
- Accompany the client to supermarkets, museums, parks, dances, recreation centers, Special Olympics, outdoor activities, etc.
- Provide transportation as needed
- Assist with medical care, including keeping appointments and sending documentation
- Provide documentation of progress notes and medical records
- Provide training on life learning skills
- Rewarding independent work
- Assistance in finding Respite and home care Aid(s)
- Ongoing support and assistance
- Client programming and events
