What are the responsibilities and job description for the Girls Head Coach position at Supreme Courts?
This position is for a youth and potentially down the road high school girls traveling head coaching position. Candidates must have experience coaching youth and/or HS teams as well as flexible schedule to run practices during the week Monday - Friday, twice a week, and weekend availability for tournaments on the weekends.
Seeking a candidate that is creative and adaptable towards player development geared towards providing structure with initiative-taking planning for practices and games. Ideally, must be flexible towards providing feedback to players on the youth level to foster and cultivate growth in areas of opportunity while developing further strengths of players as well. Must embrace team environment and be open to constructive feedback from Director and parents towards coaching effectiveness of team. Ability to compose weekly practice schedules and itinerary, while being adaptable towards adjusting throughout the season as team evolves and grows within team structure throughout seasons tournaments. Must be available to run at least two practices for up to 3 hours combined a week and have reliable transportation to attend practices and tournaments. Must have strong player evaluation skills to provide constructive feedback and creative player development individual and team drills to progress and improve teams' growth during the season.
Games played within CYBN Tournament network and potentially travel tournaments outside of state both within Chicagoland and potentially outside of state as well. Must be energetic and responsible to attend all practices to run independently and all games as scheduled for the season during the fall/winter/spring/summer. Teams play year-round minus a few months during the summer.
Opportunity to coach multiple teams if experienced, dependable, and trustworthy to manage multiple responsibilities. Must have effective communication skills to develop actions plans for players and weekly email communication to parents throughout the season. Will collaborate directly with girl's director throughout the season providing feedback related towards team's needs.
