We are looking for a Restaurant Assistant Manager to ensure all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently.
Restaurant Assistant Manager responsibilities include ordering restaurant equipment based on our needs. Supervising restaurant and bar staff performance. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what makes an excellent customer experience. You should also be available to work within opening and closing hours, including weekends and holidays.
Ultimately, you will help minimize operating costs, boost our employee retention and deliver an excellent dining experience for our guests.
- Overseeing restaurant front and bar staff performance, ensuring quality dining
- Managing restaurant floor, touch base with customers ensuring excellent dining experience
- Manage front end of restaurant, greeting and seating customers
- Complete open and closing paperwork for restaurant
- Managing front of house restaurant and bar staff
- Researching new bar wholesale suppliers and negotiating prices
- Calculating future needs in barware and equipment and placing orders, as needed
Responsibilities

- Manage and store vendors’ contracts and invoices
- Coordinate communication between front of the house and bar staff
- Prepare shift schedules
- Supervise bar and wait staff and provide assistance, as needed
- Keep detailed records of daily, weekly and monthly bar costs and revenues
- Arrange for new employees’ proper onboarding (scheduling and trainings)
- Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
- Work experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry recommended

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
