Job Description Summary:
Building new and existing PCBA products under the guidance of the Engineering Group. Capable of understanding schematics, part drawings, operation, set-up and changeover of advanced equipment, and performing all required manufacturing operations. Performs in-process inspection of own work to assure quality product output.
Knowledge/Skills: - Manufacturing experience with technical insight on specific equipment or processes
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and general manufacturing designs/drawings/diagrams
- Computer skills and use of computer programs/software specific to the manufacturing process
- Understands processes and procedures and can recognize non-conformance or problems
- Blue Print Reading Course preferred
Qualifications – Education/Experience: - Experience with SMT assembly operations and or other CNC based machine operation.
- Basic reading, writing and math skills with min high school diploma or equivalent.
- IPC 600 / 610 / J-STD-001 certifications desired and familiar with ISO 9000 standards
- Typically requires 0-2 years of prior manufacturing and hands-on experience
- Familiar with Computer software with Microsoft Excel, Word for example
- Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Must be able to work with direction in a team environment
Duties/Responsibilities: (Position Specific) - Perform basic navigation through Customer prints, schematics and customer supplied documentation to build new products
- Understands Requirements, Notes & Specs called out on drawings
- Operation of SMT line equipment for, screening, placement, reflow and inspection operations
- Learns to evaluate and make recommendations on process/product issues
- Troubleshoot process problems and communicates with Engineering to resolve
- Perform required preventative maintenance with direction from engineering
- Accountable for individual results
- Receives detail instructions on all work
- Collaborate within a team environment
- Adaptable and flexible to changing demands and work schedules/assignments
- Knowledge and participation in the 5S Program
- Adheres to established safety practices and quality system requirements
