Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic-minded Director of Supply Chain to join our dynamic team. This position will oversee supply chain for materials including planning, forecasting, delivery, and tracking of a diverse portfolio of material and supplies related to our 100% fiber internet broadband service. This position manages a small team task with forecasting and procurement of product, inventory management, collection and refurbishment of products, and managing the cost associated with supply chain. The Director is tasked with working with various departments and vendors to deliver a cost effective, repeatable, scalable product supporting our fiber build objectives. This role requires exceptional leadership and negotiating skills, a deep understanding of supply chain methodologies, and a proven track record of successfully delivering efficient and just in time supply chain solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Development of sourcing, purchasing and supply strategies.
- Implement the sourcing strategy to leverage the Companys purchasing and organizational capabilities that will optimize total cost, increasing quality, reliability, and customer service.
- Materials forecasting to support the FTTH build plan
- Manage integrity of information related to inventory levels (Surplus/Dead/Stocked and Non Stocked)
- Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
- Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
- Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.
- Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes.
- Identifies optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing.
- Assesses the need for material-handling equipment and staffing; makes recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.
- Negotiates prices for material and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies.
- Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.
- Establish processes for management and development of supplier performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in supply chain.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in supply chain and logistics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing complex projects.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating pricing and product availability with product manufacturers and distributers.
- Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus and drive decision-making.
- Strategic thinker with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Proficiency in inventory management tools and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Salary : $115,000 - $135,000
