Description
- Work alongside other oil and gas service members at a drilling site or well
- Basic level of knowledge in order to support the safe and efficient operation of Fluids & Waste Management equipment required at the wellsite
- Operate and to maintain the solids control equipment, which is used to separate solid particles and debris from the drilling fluids so that fluids are safe to recycle
- Able to demonstrate a basic level of knowledge regarding drilling rig types, rig components and rig component functions
- Able to demonstrate a basic level of knowledge related to drilling operations (i.e. drilling, tripping pipe, running casing, cementing, completions, etc.)
- High school diploma or GED certificate, mechanical ability, and problem-solving skills
- Prefer candidates with solids control training
- The career offers opportunities in onshore and offshore drilling sites
Qualifications
- High school diploma and at least one year of experience working with the particles created during the drilling process
- Experience working in another role with oil or gas drilling equipment
- Experience in a position that focuses on helping operate the equipment, managing fuel, enforcing regulations, or providing proper treatment for waste material
- Communication skills, the ability to work long, rotating shifts, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel as needed

- Occasionally required to wear respirators or a self-contained breathing apparatus, including flame retardant clothing
- Must be able to handle stress due to the need to meet variable customer requirements, long working hours in difficult work situations in all weather conditions and living with a variety of people in crowded living conditions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.54 - $20.02 per hour
