Surgical Solutions Technicians serve as an integral member of the operating room team providing surgical support and equipment for minimally invasive surgeries.
Job Responsibilities:
- Actively assist in daily OR operations, including duties associated with pre-operative set up, intra-operative support, and post-operative turnover.
- Identify damaged or worn instrumentation; troubleshoot malfunctioning scopes and equipment.
- Provide additional support in SPD, including decontamination, assembly, and unloading case carts.
- Understand procedures being performed, while ensuring a high level of service to staff.
- Regular, reliable, consistent job attendance; punctual and dependable.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to turn, bend, squat, kneel, reach, pull, standing for prolonged periods.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CRCST certification (provisional acceptable) is preferred.
- Previous customer service experience; ability to build and maintain strong rapport with hospital team.
- Previous OR/Sterile Processing experience preferred
- Ability to anticipate needs of others.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Availability for 24/7 hospital coverage, including weekday, weekend, and holiday rotational scheduled and on-call shifts.
- Covid-19 vaccination required, dependent on hospital location.
