This role requires a customer service focused technician to provide customers with superior service, as well as provide onsite troubleshooting for their machines. You will provide friendly advice and expertise to customers about our products and technology. While this role is hands on, you will be a key player in delivering a positive customer experience that exceeds customer expectations.
Function Overview
Our service centers service all of our machines in the United States. We have over 30 service centers located in various states throughout the country. Our service centers are comprised of small, close-knit teams of 2-3 Technicians and provide a family-like atmosphere!
But we are still growing. We are poised to double our footprint and take on new categories. Already a target for our competitors, challenging times are ahead. And our battle-hungry US team are truly fired up.
Accountabilities
- This is a full-time position with working hours of Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00am to 5:30pm
- Compensation package includes a competitive hourly rate plus annual bonus opportunity
- Responsible for the proper diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair of our customer’s products
- Properly manage parts usage and inventory as required and/or directed
- Communicate information on other company’s products to promote cross-selling opportunities and services to existing customers to drive revenue and achieve conversion rates
- Input customer sales information into our POS system in order to process orders efficiently
- Submit daily/weekly reports of products and customers serviced, complete other reporting as necessary
- Ensure all process activity is communicated and our company’s service levels are understood and exercised
- Assist Service Team in escalated repair instances
Skills
If you are technically minded with the ability to service, diagnose and repair machines and have good attention to detail and excellent customer service skills, we want to hear from you.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- 6 months in a customer service and/or sales related position
- High level ability to troubleshoot product faults and provide proper resolution. Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge preferred
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; strong presentation skills required
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel required; SharePoint experience a plus
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Happy to work well in a small team contributing to a positive team culture
