The Southwestern Association for Indian Art (SWAIA) is hiring for Indian Market Zone Leaders to assist with the 2024 Santa Fe Indian Market. The IM Zone Leaders are designed to assist in the preparation of the Market, execution and overview of the Market and lastly the Post-Market Breakdown. The position is a “middle management” position, meaning you answer to the IM Manager, but you also manage and lead a team of IMs under you.
- Work under the IM Manager in executing the Indian market and all its properties
- Lead your IM zone teams with professionalism and kindness
- Manage and execute all duties to make Indian Market a success by handling the preparation, execution and break down of market tasks
- Lead and manage a small team of IM workers, including but not limited; to schedules and scripts developed for their zones.
- Set up and break down of the whole event, delivery runs, loading and unloading
- Help and assist with administrative duties including but not limited to artist package mailings, stuffing of badges, organization of desks and admin, fashion show, booth set up, booth card hanging, barricading streets, art receiving, SFCCC event duties.
- Hands on job performance needed in all tasks and work areas
- ATV License must be obtained before market
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
