Job Description
Senior Intune Engineer
The Intune Engineer will support and oversee the day-to-day operations of our Intune, MDM, and application packaging solutions. The Intune Engineer will build, test, and troubleshoot a wide array of issues which related to images, policy standardization, application packing and deployments. This person will work with our internal teams, vendors, and consultant in reviewing our existing environment and analyzing the effectiveness and adequacy of system, making recommendations for upgrades, replacement, and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated experience in end-user device technologies, application integration and associated services, operating systems, and related utilities.
- Extensive experience using Intune and JAMF for managing desktop systems for deployments.
- Deploy, maintain, and update a secure standard image for all environments / domains. This includes the master images and new images under development for deployment.
- 5 years of system administration
- Creating scripts for automating repetitive tasks using any language or low/no-code platforms
- Managing licenses and working on Microsoft Cloud Platforms to maintain Intune.
- Contributions to system tools like Okta, DLP, and security tools that connect or integrate with Intune.
- Advanced knowledge of end user computing environments including Windows 7, Windows 8, Mac OSX and their supporting infrastructure components
- Advanced engineering and administration of Windows and non-Windows operating systems, domain architecture, server-side services, and interaction with the desktop environment.
- A cloud-first approach to solving problems and knowledge of cyber security threats and prevention.
- Must take the initiative to work efficiently without constant supervision and direction.
- Demonstrated resourcefulness, initiative, and analytical abilities.
- Strong technical and customer service skills a MUST.
