Our Enterprise Analytics department works hard to provide data rich, actionable insights to the business in a way that is easily understood and impactful to the customer experience as well as the growth of the company. The Data Analyst role works with the leaders of the business to effect change and drive our business based on data.
Data Analyst II:
Create and execute reporting and analytical techniques to support all business units. Compile and aggregate information from multiple data sources to create meaningful data insights to solve business problems using statistical methodologies and advanced analytical techniques. Effectively communicate actionable insights that can be leveraged to optimize business strategies.
Who You Are:
Digital Marketing / Ecommerce analytics experience: You understand how data is used to drive eCommerce growth. You are experienced in Adobe Analytics, GA or other web analytics platforms. You own the quality and accuracy of the data that is collected from the site.
Structured Thinker: You can frame and bring structured insights to large, complex, and ambiguous problems.
Problem Solver: You can identify the key issues that impact business decisions and have the analytical skills to drive insights.
Independent & Disciplined: You desire responsibility and can work independently. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment. You prioritize and work on multiple projects throughout your day and week.
Build Relationships: You enjoy building relationships with those who will implement the insights. You become a strategic thought partner with eCommerce and Marketing leadership to drive the business forward.
You have a knack for communicating and influencing others and a track record of distilling complex information into compelling stories. You know how to tell data stories and work with people to action on the insights.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity with a passion for developing and analyzing large, complex data sets and converting them into information/insights
- Experience with web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.) is preferred.
- Experience working with relational databases and scripting languages that support data manipulation and reporting automation; SQL, Power BI, R, or Python is preferred.
- Knowledge of data science techniques (statistical models, various regression techniques, decision tree algorithms, cluster analysis, etc)
- Must be resilient and manage complexity with ease.
- Strong Communication Skills
- Able to plan and align priorities to match those of the broader business, be able to easily adapt to changing priorities.
