SWBC is seeking an experienced Director Portfolio Management- Fixed Income who will primarily manage the taxable portfolio strategies offered by SWBC Investment Company. Strategies include corporate cash management, total return, Strategic Income, Systemic Fixed Income, short duration and opportunistic strategies. In a team setting, the Director Fixed Income PM will share responsibility for the development of strategies, strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions, execution, strategy marketing, risk management and reporting. Your strategy, vision, and analytical deliveries will directly contribute to SWBC’s mission. Essential duties include the following: Manages the taxable portfolio strategies offered by SWBC. Strategizes corporate cash management, total return, short durations and opportunistic investing. Fixed Income PM will share responsibility for the development of strategies, strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions, execution, strategy marketing, risk management and reporting. Fixed income asset management within a large portfolio setting (1 billion) Management of the Taxable Bond Strategies with experience investing across the assets class and a demonstrated ability to generate alpha vs. various benchmarks. Manages quantitative analytical and modeling skills along with solid verbal and written communication skills, including presentation capabilities. Serious candidates will possess the following qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field. Minimum seven (7) years in investment analysis, finance management, or related experience in a financial services or securities related industry. Proficient experience in financial statement analysis and financial modeling. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Series 7, 63, 24, and 65/66. Understanding of traditional and alternative investment strategies. Basic investment knowledge and reporting principles. Advanced knowledge and facility in PC based software applications, including spreadsheet preparation and modification. Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), investment accounting and tax reporting. Working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, and Excel. Strong organizational, and interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong quantitative and analytical aptitude. Excellent problem solving skills. Able to interpret and analyze financial statements and reports. Able to operate basic office equipment including copy machine, fax, computer, and printers. Able to sit for long periods of time performing sedentary duties. Able to lift 10-20 lbs. of reports or other documents.
