SWC Healthcare is growing our Healthcare Associate team and we are currently looking for individuals who have a passion for serving our clients. We are seeking hard-working, dedicated individuals to work alongside a talented and focused nursing TEAM who enjoy working together and serving our clients

Responsibilities

  • Follows written instructions for patients care.
  • Provide and assists patients with personal care (which may include lifting, positioning, turning, and transferring patients without assistance) to preserve good personal hygiene while maintaining a healthful, safe environment
  • Reports changes in patient’s condition and needs
  • Establishes and maintains appropriate rapport with the patient and family
  • Perform household services such as light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation according to theassignment.
  • Accompanied client to and from appointments and assist with scheduling appointments.
  • Help clients with scheduling transportation.
  • Practices infection control and universal precautions for self and others in patient care activities.
  • Documents interactions with patients, caregivers, doctors, and other staff members appropriately, legibly, thoroughly, and in the amount of time allowed.

  • Practical communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Patient and compassionate towards people.

Requirements:

  • Must have a current CPR/FA
  • One year experience as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, or home health/hospice agency.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a working phone number.
  • Must be willing to complete a background, drug and TB test.
  • Experience working with individuals with cognitive impairments and behavioral issues.
  • Ability to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Temporary

Salary: $14.00 - $15.25 per hour
