Description

A member of the health care team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse provides efficient operation of a nursing unit by taking responsibility for the clerical functions and heart rhythm monitoring of patients.

Required qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training and Coursework in medical terminology.

  • Coursework/Training and successful completion of Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia Interpretation class with a score of at least 80% on final exam.

  • Coursework/Training and Individuals hired with previous monitor technician experience must pass a challenge exam with a score of 80%

  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred qualifications:

  • Recent experience in an acute care facility or related work experience.

About the Team

Providence Swedish is the largest not-for-profit health care system in the greater Puget Sound area.
