Job Title: Packager

Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as a Packaging Assistant. In this position, you will be responsible for packaging infused foods into appropriate containers, accurately labeling product, maintaining inventories, and assisting with shipping tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Package finished goods such as brownies, cookies, and snack foods into containers with precision and accuracy.
• Ensure precise counts of finished goods are maintained, including accurate piece counts, unit counts, and total batch counts
• Label orders and pack finished goods inventory (FGI) into final packages ready to be shipped.
• Work with a licensed third-party courier service to send products from the bakery to dispensaries.
• Ensure all packages are properly sealed and labeled with the correct product and dosage information.
• Follow all standard operating procedures and comply with all regulations related to cannabis packaging and labeling.
• Assist with end-of-day cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Report any issues or discrepancies to the packaging manager.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in packaging or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of cannabis packaging and labeling regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain an MED Badge issued through the state of Colorado.
• Current Food Handler's Certification is preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with cannabis and its effects is preferred, but not required.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
