Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations efficiently and safely in the Metro Detroit area.
Duties:
- Safely operate delivery vehicles such as vans or sprinters
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle each morning
- Verify correct route information through company app
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Communicate to higher-ups if issues or confusion occurs
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Clean Background/Strictly no felonies or misdemeanors
- A cell phone with service/internet
- A bank account from a real bank (NO cashapp, venmo or third-party apps)
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Capable of heavy lifting and moving large boxes
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools
- Arrive to the warehouse in Romulus, MI at 8 AM each work day
- Work six days a week
