What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Graphic Designer position at Swig HQ?
At Swig, we are motivated by innovation and design and want to take our branding a huge step forward. We are in search of an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to help create the next generation of Swig. The ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of art and marketing expertise to the role. This role involves managing the creation and development of our brand assets across various mediums including apparel, merchandise, and digital. The Senior Designer will be responsible for creating a brand identity that is cohesive and engaging across all channels and mediums. - Develop and execute the overall artistic direction and visual strategy for Swig by working in tandem with the Marketing team.
- Develop comprehensive brand guidelines that outlines the usage of brand elements, typography, color palette, imagery, and tone of voice. Continuously update and refine the brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints.
- Produce sketches, mood boards, and roughs to visualize ideas.
- Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience to encourage design direction.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of graphic designers, copywriters, social-media experts, photographers/videographers, and project managers in the strategic development of messaging and deliverables.
- Manage the creative process of all design assets including web, print, digital marketing, packaging, and merchandise.
- Take work and design from concept to final execution within deadlines.
- Manage and delegate responsibilities to other designers and provide direction by collecting customer feedback.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in art and design, incorporating them into our brand strategy.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
- 5 years of relevant or proven experience
- Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, visual aesthetics, and design principles
- Proven ability in leading brand identity and asset creation for reputable brands.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design skills and styles (packaging, print collateral, publication (type setting), web/digital, social, illustrations, etc….
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience in creating integrated content across all marketing channels: digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and print
- Strong creative vision with attention to detail and strong organizational skills and time management
