We are seeking a proactive and experienced Mid-Level User Training Specialist to develop and implement training programs that support system migrations and user adoption of new technologies. In this role, you will coordinate with community training organizations and stakeholders to ensure the smooth transition from legacy systems to advanced platforms. Responsibilities & other details are listed below:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop comprehensive user training materials, plans, and schedules tailored to support the transition from legacy systems to new technologies.
- Coordinate with training organizations to establish and maintain training standards that align with organizational objectives.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars for users at various levels, ensuring they are fully equipped to operate and leverage new systems.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with IT and project teams to stay informed about new system capabilities, updates, and changes, and incorporate this information into training programs.
- Provide ongoing support to users post-training, addressing any issues or concerns and ensuring continuous improvement in system usage.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and feedback to track progress and identify areas for future training.
ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4 to 10 years of experience in user training, instructional design, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, particularly for IT systems and software.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including technical teams and end-users.
- Experience with adult learning principles and methodologies, as well as various training delivery methods (e.g., in-person, virtual).
- Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) SCI clearance.
