What does a Fleet Mechanic do at Swire Coca-Cola? This is a full-time industrial level auto-mechanic position, responsible for performing maintenance, running diagnostics and repairing our medium to heavy duty diesel trucks and trailers. You will inspect fleet vehicles, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and play a crucial role in keeping our trucks safe and on the road!
Responsibilities:
Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules.
Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate
Experience of 3 years of mechanic work
ASE certification a plus
Owning a tool set and understanding the best practice for how to use required
