What does a Staff Internal Auditor do at Swire Coca-Cola?
This position performs independent and objective assessments of the organization’s operations. These audits will involve risk- and objective-based projects to identify root cause in cases where processes differ from management’s expectations and internal control objectives. This position will work with all levels of management to identify potential solutions to issues identified and engage with personnel throughout the organization to explain needed changes and follow to validate the implementation of action plans. This position is based in Draper, Utah and will require 25% travel mostly to the Western United States.

Responsibilities:
- Work with colleagues throughout the organization to identify key objectives, risks, and controls.
- Analyze data to identify trends and outliers. Use date to identify potential audits, to report potential issues to leadership, and to design data-driven audit procedures.
- Design audit programs to address risks and test controls.
- Maintain organized workpapers and supporting evidence.
- Review audit evidence and draw appropriate conclusions regarding the state of the client’s control environment.
- Communicate clearly with local leaders, process managers, and senior leadership to keep stakeholders informed and involved in audits.
- Identify best practices to share with other teams around the organization.
- Report persuasive results of audits driving process improvement and drive change.
- Interact with personnel at all levels with a high level of professionalism. Develop and maintain constructive, collaborative, and trusting relationships with personnel at all levels.
- Support continuous improvement throughout the organization as well as in Internal Audit’s own operations.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Consideration may be given for:
- Associate's degree in accounting/business and two years of audit, accounting, payroll, banking, or business experience.
- Or a student in Accounting, Finance, or Business who is within two years of a Bachelor's degree.
- Or four years of other business experience in the areas of customer service, audit, finance, or accounting
- Excellent analytical skillset and critical mindset
- Strong collaboration, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated intermediate level skills with spreadsheets and other data analysis tools.
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization and methods (verbal, written).
- Ability to use initiative, creativity, aptitude, and flexibility in the workplace.
- Comfortable with ambiguity. Has the ability to take unclear and uncertain results and work with others to resolution.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy.
