Position Summary: Coordinates and supervises warehouse activities and personnel which includes shipment of all merchandise produced or stocked at SAP by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Daily Coordination & Scheduling of all outbound shipments for contract packaging and Brand orders to ensure it is done so that warehouse labor can be efficiently utilized.
- Works daily with internal shipping departments to ensure personal resources are adequate. Reassigns associates within internal departments as necessary.
- Ensures shipping supplies for the warehouse are adequate for the production schedule.
- Enforce Standard Operating Procedures & Policies for the shipping department that helps to ensure and achieve SOP’s quality standards.
- Reports daily productivity levels for shipping metrics.
- Effectively manage Warehouse workers and other assigned employees. This includes, but is not limited to assisting in identifying employee's skills and developing them by coaching and counseling on a regular basis. Providing feedback on both positive and negative performance.
- Recommends Disciplinary Actions – initiate and enforce disciplinary actions as needed
- Loss/Waste Reduction
- Inventory Control – help to maintain accurate inventory levels of finished goods by continuous ensuring all shipping procedures and related SOP’s related to inventory transactions are followed.
- Assists warehouse manager in NCR investigations related to shipping as requested or required.
- Coordinates with sales force and customer service to meet customer needs and demands.
- Ensures Returned product is placed back into stock in a timely manner.
- Responds to customer inquiries Regarding shipping concerns or damaged shipments.
- Participates in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities.
- Participates in and Encourages associates in lean and continuous improvement activities
- Do Walk-thru Reports.
- Support all Corporate and Plant level Continuous Improvement (CI) Initiatives. Ensure the department maintains acceptable standard with respect to lean manufacturing, sanitation, and various initiatives as assigned.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Business Suite; Inventory software; Internet; Email and database software.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises employees in the Warehouse Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; complaints and resolving problems.
