Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mold Maker to join our team. The Mold Maker will be responsible for creating and repairing molds used in the production of various products. This position offers an opportunity to work with precision tools and equipment in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Duties:
- Use CNC machinery to create molds according to specifications
- Operate stamping presses to shape and form molds
- Utilize CAD software to design mold components
- Inspect and measure mold components using precision measuring instruments such as calipers
- Manual machine operation when needed
- Assemble and fabricate mold parts with attention to detail
- Perform maintenance and repair on existing molds
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure mold accuracy
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in math for measurements and calculations
- Experience with CAD software for mold design
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
- Ability to use hand tools effectively
- Experience in Tig, Mig and/or Laser welding preferred
- Able to work independently and be self-driven
- Prior experience in mold making or related field is preferred
