Swoon is hiring for our Medical Products in Houston, TX and this will be an onsite position.
This is a 12-month contract to start with Benefits - Health, Dental & Vision (50% of premium is covered for contractor).
Position Overview: This is a 12-18 month project based in the Houston, Texas area, focusing on the buildout of an existing structure to serve as a Regional Distribution Center for their solution products.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead design activities in collaboration with a contracted design firm, overseeing specific disciplines.
Ensure timely responses to Requests for Information, approvals of Construction Plans and Specifications, and revisions or approvals of Submittals.
Provide clarity on any undefined or ambiguous scope items covered in the Construction Plans and Specifications.
Maintain a field presence at the site during the buildout phase.
Develop and update the Project Execution Plan and Project Procedures.
Manage safety programs and documentation.
Oversee the development, review, and approval of User Requirements, Construction Drawings, and Specifications.
Coordinate the Integrated Facilities/Utilities & Process Equipment Installation Schedule.
Ensure construction quality through documentation and redline corrections.
Handle change control documents and manage the turnover of construction packages.
Oversee mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning assistance.
Manage project schedules, track milestones, and provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Participate in regular project meetings and handle all necessary correspondences.
Manage subcontractors, field changes, quantity measurement, and invoice certification.
Oversee material and document management, ensuring effective communication and coordination with all project stakeholders.
