Senior Executive Administrative Assistant
Job Purpose:
Provides administrative and managerial support to the Tribal Chairperson and the operations of the Tribal Government Office
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
(Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time)
Composes, prepares and proof reads a variety of documents and materials including meeting minutes, support letters, correspondence, memos, reports, and resolutions
Establishes, maintains and updates departmental records, files and databases related to Tribal Chairperson's Office operations
Assists the Vice-Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and other Council members on Tribal Government Policy issues as requested
Assists Tribal members as requested by the Tribal Chairperson
Collaborates with the Tribal Manager and other management staff to ensure completion of administrative projects and tasks
Plans and coordinates meetings and organizational events and maintains central events calendar
Coordinates with departments and staff to ensure all legal contracts are organized and prepared for signature by Tribal Chairperson
Screens and prioritizes calls, correspondence, and e-mails and responds according to priority level
Researches, collects and prepares topical information for use in Tribal Council meetings and conferences
Designs, prepares and proofs written proposals, presentations, plans, charts and tables in keeping with general guidelines provided by Management staff
Serves as a communications liaison between Tribal Government Office staff and internal and external clients, public agencies and VIPs
Manages, plans and coordinates special projects as assigned

Education and Experience:
Essential:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
5 years executive administration experience
Supervisory experience
Desirable:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Tribal Government or Tribal Organization experience
