Symbridge is looking for a Portfolio Manager who will be an integral part of a collaborative and driven team. This is an incredible opportunity to join a fully funded, innovative, early-stage Fintech that will transform digital trading platforms.
What you’ll do:
- Monitor implementation and execution of portfolio strategy for the funds
- Assist with the design and implementation of a strategy for private-market assets
- Identify and analyze investment opportunities in the alternative assets area; assisting with policy creation and implementation; preparing investment memoranda; and actively monitoring all alternative-asset holdings
- Assist with asset allocation, especially as it relates to sub-asset classes within alternative assets; actively contribute to vetting potential fund managers; and participate in meetings with the Investment Committee
- Establish a process to critically assess fund managers, their processes, and their risk management approaches and capabilities
- Collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure appropriate risk management
- Sourcing Managers, Due Diligence, Investment and Monitoring Investments
- Collaborate with the Sales team on investment opportunities
- Analyze large datasets to develop sensible modeling inputs
- Work with Sales team to look for opportunities to cross sell existing investors of funds
What you’ll need to have:
- The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Crypto, a good understanding of financial concepts, experience managing demanding clients and collaborating with client service teams, a desire to help grow a book of business and a proven ability to think and work independently
- Should have 5 years of client management experience and in alternative-asset investments
- Familiarity with leading managers, investment processes, operations, and compliance protocols; an understanding of fund structures, accounting treatment and valuation; experience in calculating rates of return
- A foundation in manager research, selection and monitoring, and experience with alternative-asset execution through the primary and secondary markets
- Strong written, oral and presentation skills to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Exhibit solid strategic analysis, problem solving, issue resolution and decision-making skills
- Understands business planning concepts
- Strong analytical skills, broad based project management experience
- BA/BS degree in related discipline
