The Role:
The Accountant II plays a key role in maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and supporting financial analysis. You will be responsible for executing day-to-day accounting tasks, reconciling accounts, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies. This position requires a strong foundation in accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
Education, experience and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Experience in processing payroll and familiarity with payroll software/systems.
- Proficiency in accounting software or ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
- Detail-oriented and organized with excellent time management skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
- Experience in a corporate accounting environment preferred.
- Proactive approach to meeting daily workload demands
- Strong organizational skills and tenacious follow-through skills
- Ability to multi tasks and prioritize workload
- High degree of accuracy
- Honest and reliable
- Possess the poise, polish, and positive energy to interact with all departments within the company as well as various vendors and customers.
