Position Summary:
A customer-focused and dynamic individual for the Concierge role at Symphony Park. This position is pivotal in providing excellent service and creating memorable experiences for our residents and guests. The concierge role at Symphony Park is held to a high standard. This role is the main point of contact for all resident and guests.
Essential Job Functions:
- Serve as a concierge attendant, managing the concierge desk and its daily operations.
- Provide guidance and support to all residents and guests, ensuring excellence in service delivery.
- Facilitate all resident service requests including but not limited to maintenance, housekeeping, transportation, dining reservation, salon and spa, activities, and group fitness.
- Gain and utilize in-depth knowledge of the resident communication and engagement platform, assisting residents in navigating the platform, and making requests on the resident’s behalf.
- Ensure adequate coverage of the concierge desk.
- Answer all phone calls professionally and redirect phone calls to the appropriate departments as necessary.
- Act as an extension of the sales team when necessary, providing direction and information to potential residents.
- Address resident and guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally, escalating to the Executive Director or General Manager as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned, consistent with the position.
- When need arises, maintain a flexible schedule to maintain concierge coverage. This may include shifts Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm.
- Encourages teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
- Attends training courses at community and maintains up to date monthly, quarterly, and annual training.
- Other duties as assigned, and which relate to the success of the community and the care, comfort, and happiness of our residents.
Experience Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in concierge services, preferably in a hospitality or senior living setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality or related field is a plus.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

- Squat – must be able to squat on a frequent basis to reach below the knee, may require lifting of 50 pounds or less.
- Twist or rotate – must be able to twist or rotate occasionally at the trunk, hips, knees, and neck while, manipulating weights of 25 pounds or more.
- Reach– must be able to reach on a frequent basis. May occasionally reach overhead, requiring manipulation of weight of 10 pounds or less, and below waist manipulating weight of 25 pounds or more.
- Sensory Vision – must be able to read clearly with or without corrective lenses
- Hear - Must be able to hear telephone, audible alarms, bells and signals related to resident safety with or without hearing devices.
- Speech/Language – must have strong command of English sufficient to read and write and interpret administration information.
