• Ensure compliance to ISO 9001, FSS/ISO22000, Diana Petfood Standards, and all related working procedures
• Develop, implement and maintain the HACCP program in the process department
• Insure GMP-GHP in the area
• Update Flowchart and Hazard Analysis
• Analysis of results for verification activities, internal and external audits
• Implement, maintain CCPs and PrPos in the department
• Train team to CCPs and PrPOs
• Manage non-conformities (decide, put on hold, isolate, destruct), analyze for root causes and undertake correctives actions
• Leads the Food Safety Team
• Maintain (calibration) the quality control equipment
• Continuously train Q&FS Team for Quality excellence and provide advices to Process and Packaging/warehouse for needed training and perform active survey for new federal or state laws and/or regulations
• Relay any information / communication from Central Q&FS to the rest of QHSE team
• Supervise routine Raw Materials and Finished Products sampling plans
• Analytically process any Finished Product complains (Prepare samples / Collect results / Communicate reports) and provide advices / assistance for trials / research of new RM / internal certification of new suppliers
• Maintain the Quality information supply chain (quality control documents…)
• Prepare Q&FS team operating budgets
