Job Description:
Role Summary/Purpose:
The AVP, Marketing Cloud Developer L10 position will function as a Marketing Cloud Solutions Architect reporting to the Marketing Cloud Platform Leader. The position will be responsible for working closely with Business Analysts to deliver on strategic business initiatives. This position will also be responsible for maintaining the Marketing Cloud platform as well as growing adoption within the businesses they support.

Essential Responsibilities:
Develop and implement integrated marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform
Develop and maintain Marketing Cloud Personalization beacons, site maps, and campaigns
Customization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions with REST API, AmpScript, and SQL development, including email and Cloudpage template development
Develop and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud integrations with external systems, data sources, and APIs
Define and implement data integration strategies for importing and exporting data into/out of Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Implement multi-channel strategies including web pages, cloud pages, email and/or SMS
Work closely with Marketing Cloud Business Analysts to understand requirements and design cohesive solutions to meet business needs
Create and maintain documentation related to release initiatives
Develop and implement responsive, dynamic, and personalized email templates and landing pages
Ensure data quality and maintain data governance standards by building and managing Data Extensions, Segments, and Smart Capture Forms
Work with Salesforce Admins to facilitate changes in the Salesforce platform to assist with marketing strategies.
Organize, document and lead release management efforts across the platforms.
Work with Campaign Ops teams to consume and process audience lists and update AMPScript in emails as needed
Implement solutions to ensure and monitor data quality within Salesforce.
Execute Marketing Cloud Admin functions, such as user access, send class/profile maintenance, other admin configuration as needed
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree. In lieu of a degree HS Diploma/GED and 6 years of progressive business experience
- 2 years of Marketing Cloud experience to include:
- Understanding of Integration scenarios and design: Data Architecture
- Hands-on development experience with AMPscript and SQL
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification highly desired
- Strong documentation and training skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
- Experience in a business analysis capacity
- Experience with both Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
- Development experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Admin Certification
- Understanding of Agile project management
- Strong understanding of financial card services business processes
- Excellent Presentation, Written and Oral Communication Skills
- Experience leading salesforce integration projects
- Experience leading optimization projects and standard release management
Grade/Level: 10
The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
