What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Syndeo Staffing?
Syndeo Staffing has an immediate opening for a temp-to-hire Customer Service Representative at a local aircraft manufacturing company. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for all customers and maintain open relationships between customers, vendors, and the production team. This is a 1st shift position.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for pulling new customer purchase orders and purchase order changes via the customer portal - (i.e. Exostar, ESIS)
- Maintains and builds upon the customer relationship
- Serves as the face of the company for representation to all customers
- Monitors and ensures the accuracy of customer metrics, when inaccurate, submits reversal requests to follow through closing
- Uses personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles
- Ensures all purchase orders match in pricing, lead time, and other terms and conditions as per the agreements
- Responsible to get answers form production control/scheduling on what will accepted and then communicate to the customer
- Responsible for maintaining customer open orders and status reports as required by the customer Coordinates deadlines with the Production Control Manager
- Communicates any impact to the PO schedule early/late to the buyer Responsible for schedule changes and schedule change request
- Fields any calls from the customer including but not limited to, part status and shipping information
- Validates all new parts purchase orders back to the quote that will list the correct sales price, expedite, non- recurring/tooling costs and lead time to be entered into Global Shop
- Handles all the customer service requests from the customer, including but not limited to, all corrected paperwork requests, return material authorizations, and proof of delivery requests
- Responsible for updating any uncovered load dates or drop dead dates in the Production Report
- Maintains communication with suppliers for pending deliveries and manages the supplier open order report Adds all old and new PN's to cross reference in Global Shop for part rolls
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related assigned tasks as needed
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School Diploma or GED
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, ERP/MRP Systems, Exostar/ESIS
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Customer Service, Manufacturing,
