The Role
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for hands on development, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Financial Crimes environment.
- Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs/activities.
- closely with business partners in defining requirements and ensuring acceptance criteria is met for application changes.
- In-depth knowledge of development tools and languages is a must.
- Ability to partner with the multiple Technology teams to implement the target architecture and migration to strategic platform.
Requirements:
• 8 – 10 years of full stack experience in Java end to end application development.
• 4 years of Angular experience
• Strong core java skills including multi-threading, collections API, JDBC and knowledge of Java profiling tools
• Knowledge of performance tuning data intensive applications
• Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills
• Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative tech based solutions
• Exceptional intelligence and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Software development using agile methodology and processes
• Degree from outstanding university
• Background in enterprise stress testing
• Knowledge and/or experience working within the Elastic, Hadoop, Teradata or other big data distributed ecosystem
• Knowledge of cloud computing or distributed computing
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline
It would be great if you also had:
- Experience with additional big data tools like Hadoop, Kafka, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
- Experience with data visualization tools and libraries.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio showcasing relevant projects

Salary : $105,000 - $115,000
