Specific Qualifications
Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen, and when applicable if duties involve operating motor vehicle must be able to pass motor vehicle record check.
- Lead all efforts of quality and continuous improvement teams
- Lead workgroups to solve quality problems
- Lead and develop the quality team
- Serve as the primary owner of tank and enclosure quality systems and programs
- Represent Greiner during site audits for UL, STI, customers, and other agencies
- Lead and/or participate in business level quality initiatives
- Working closely with the production team and the customer to achieve the best solutions and drive continuous improvement
- Manage and lead customer complaint processes
- Perform system analyses, institute, and monitor quality indicators
- Participate in the prevention and remedy of quality problems through technical contributions and management/moderation of problem-solving team
- Review the effectiveness of corrective measures
- Establish leading and lagging quality KPI's, Develop COPQ metrics
- Drive improved SOP's for all facets of manufacturing, assembly, and integration
- Work with operations team to drive improved welding processes where certified welding is required
- Establish monthly customer conference calls concerning quality and field service issues
- Bachelor's degree is required; Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred
- 10 years of quality related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Mastery of team leadership abilities
- Ability to work independently
- Previous management experience in quality assurance
- Extensive knowledge and experience using quality systems and tools
- Knowledge of analytical processes
- Mastery of verbal and written communication
- Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel Spreadsheets
- Reliable, organized, detail oriented and able to function at high level in fast paced manufacturing environment
