Position: Design Technician

Description: The Design Technician will provide technical support to Utility Projects through a combination of field observations and office work. Field work involves providing observation of Utility infrastructure, determining GPS coordinates and taking pictures that support the Project. Office work includes editing and updating CAD Drawings, updating GIS and completing additional documentation based on the field findings, as well as uploading images. This is a Monday - Friday, 1st shift opportunity!

- High School Degree required with preference for technical studies such as Drafting or CAD
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or Microstation preferred with a desire and willingness to learn through additional training
- Experience in a utilities or construction related field preferred
- Reliable transportation with ability to perform field work, 50% required
- Someone who is detail oriented with customer service skills and computer skills
