What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Dock Worker position at Synerfac Technical Staffing?
Responsibilities:
- Helping to ensure that goods and freight are delivered safely, efficiently, and free from damage
- Efficiently sorting, handling, loading and unloading both palletized and non-palletized freight using motorized and/or manual equipment as needed (e.g. pallet jack, hand truck, forklift, by hand, etc.)
- Operating applicable devices for tracking shipments
- Verifying and completing required paperwork as needed
- Interacting frequently with others while maintaining professionalism at all times
- Prior forklift experience or previous forklift certification preferred
- Must be able to push or pull a loaded pallet jack and/or hand truck with a minimum load of 70 lbs
- Physical activities include; standing, bending, walking, lifting, twisting, turning, etc.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member
- Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities
Salary : $29,900 - $37,800
