What are the responsibilities and job description for the UX Designer position at Synergy Interactive?
**This is an onsite (5 days/week) position.
Responsibilities:
- Transform art direction and visual design into compelling user experiences, ensuring alignment with user experience principles.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
- Work with other designers to ensure consistency and cohesiveness across all products and platforms.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
- Integrate business goals and objectives into the design process, demonstrating strong business understanding.
- Lead design reviews and presentations, clearly articulating design decisions to leadership and team members.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of UX design coming from a Start-Up or tech company.
- Online portfolio showcasing design work.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and prototyping in Figma.
- Highly creative with a passion for innovative design.
- Ability to handle multiple roles and responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience working closely with engineers to implement designs and understand technical constraints.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating design decisions and rationale.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, taking initiative and driving projects forward.
- Understanding of the product lifecycle with the ability to adapt to evolving requirements and priorities.
- Start-up experience preferred, demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Notion, Slack, Linear.app, and the Adobe suite.
