The Cooler Lead will supervise and support the cooler admin crews and cooler employees as well as being responsible for the inventory management systems and integrity of data collection in the cooler.
You will help shape the future of agriculture by:
- Responsible for managing the inventory and shipping process of all products.
- Responsible for managing cooler employees during your shift
- Daily Communication with all stake holders on shipping schedule and all paperwork.
- Responsible for execution of daily and weekly work schedule in the cooler for the shift
- Accountable for pick-packing and quality control during the shift
- Managing, monitoring and communication on performance.
- Responsible for monitoring, coaching, and encouraging employees
- Responsible for enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
- Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process.
- Communicates with operations and planning department
- Communicate and work closely with logistics department on daily bases
- Ability to maintain and execute established procedures.
- Ability to work on detail processes
- Demonstrated people-management skills
- Effectively communicate and translate customer requirements
- Problem solving abilities, must be able to make changes to schedules and activities based on current and up to the minute influencing factors.
- Flexible work hours. Will require some weekend and night work.
- Maintain open and constant communications with other managers, and supervisors
- Must be team oriented and must support all activities of the team.
To stand out, you should also have:
- Must have experience in inventory management.
- People & Team coaching and development.
- Logistics and shipping experience
- Shipping and phyto paperwork and management
- Warehouse management Mostly working indoors under cold weather conditions
- Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles
