To support that challenge, the GreenLeaf Genetics team is currently seeking a Regional Account Lead in Iowa, United States. As a Regional Account Lead, you will establish a unique business relationship with Independent Seed Company accounts with an objective to increase Syngenta profitability and market-share through long term account growth strategy development.
You will help shape the future of agriculture by:
Developing and leading the strategy for selected Key Accounts operating across territory geographies
Managing wholesale and retail customer-based business to include developing long term strategy for growth and profit for US license partners
Managing retail strategy at key sites for channel partners and licensees operating across Business Unit boundaries
Accountabilities
- Develop customer offers that relate to our customers’ Key Performance Indicators
- Implement marketing and sales strategies and tactics by leading development of strategic initiatives and managing Retail strategy at key sites
- Direct execution of customer- based programs while managing brand related competitive issues at the customer level and coordinate with business groups on customer activities
- Work with Key Account Leads (KAL) and Seedcare Specialists to provide maximum Return on Investment (ROI) for genetics, traits, and seedcare portfolio
- Represent corn and soybean genetic portfolio with assistance from technical KAL team
- Develop top-line sustainable growth platform
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Agriculture- 7 years in industry, sales and marketing management experience, and previous customer account management
- Revenue responsibility: Seed genetics and traits, seedcare
- Knowledge of multistep seed distribution, organizational effectiveness, product life cycles and demonstrated knowledge of product, brand, and crops
- Broad knowledge of the product portfolio and corresponding seed and crop markets
Ability to recognize competitive activities in the marketplace and know how to effectively minimize impact without compromising profitability targets- Demonstrated ability to quickly establish professional relationships, based on solid business principles and ability to foster strong interpersonal relationships
- Demonstrated customer focus and dedication of meeting the expectations and requirements of external customers and clients
- Demonstrated skills in organizational effectiveness, decision making, business plans and strategies, negotiation skills, networking and communications, interpersonal skills, tactical effectiveness, change orientation, strategic development and problem solving
